Abstract
U ovom radu pripravljene su mješavine poli(vinil-klorida) PVC-a i ljuske jaja (ES) ekstrudiranjem, jednim od najčešćih procesa u polimernoj industriji. Uzorci su potom analizirani termogravimetrijskom analizom u inertu kroz dva razgradna stupnja te je uočeno da se vrijednosti karakterističnih temperatura mješavina PVC/ES (T 5% ,T onset , i T max ) pomiču prema višim temperaturama što je veći udio ES-a što ukazuje na poboljšanje toplinske stabilnosti PVC-a. DSC analizom dobivene su normalizirane DSC krivulje mješavina PVC/ES te je utvrđeno postojanje jedinstvenog staklišta koje odgovara temperaturi staklastog prijelaza PVC-a te se može zaključiti da dodatak ES-a ne utječe na temperaturu staklastog prijelaza. Infracrvenom spektroskopijom je uočeno da su spektri istraživanih komponenti ostali nepromjenjeni te se može zaključiti da ljuska jaja nije imala utjecaj na strukturu PVC-a.
Abstract (english)
In this paper, poly(vinil-chloride) PVC and egg shells (ES) mixtures were prepared by extrusion, one of the most common processes in the polymer industry. The samples were analyzed by termogravimetric analysis with inert through two decomposition steps, and it was observed that the values of characteristic temperatures (T 5% ,T onset , i T max ) of mixtures were higher as the amount of ES content was higher, indicating an improvement in the thermal stability of PVC. DSC analyisis obtained normalized DSC curves of PVC/ES mixtures and confirmed the existence of a single glass transition temperature which corresponds to the glass transition temperature of PVC and it can be concluded that the addition of ES does not affect the glass trasition temperature of PVC. Infrared spectroscopy showed that the spectra of the investigated components remained unchanged and it can be concluded that the egg shells had no effect on the PVC structure.
