Abstract
Cilj ovog diplomskog rada bio je istraţiti povezanost stanja novoroĎene djece s prisutnošću sredstava ovisnosti, dokazanih u urinu primjenom GC-MS metode, na području Splitsko-dalmatinske ţupanije u vremenskom razdoblju od 1. siječnja 2010. godine do 31. prosinca 2015. godine. Studija je organizirana kao presječno istraţivanje. Analizirani su podatci o novoroĎenoj djeci, kojoj je u urinu dokazana prisutnost sredstava ovisnosti, prikupljeni iz pismohrane Kliničkog bolničkog centra Split. Parametri koji su korišteni za analizu novoroĎene djece su spol, porodna duljina, porodna masa, toksikološki nalaz urina, status majke te Apgar vrijednost u prvoj minuti. Najveći broj novoroĎene djece s pronaĎenim sredstvima ovisnosti u urinu bio je 2010. godine, a najmanji broj 2015. godine. Nije primijećena značajna razlika u broju novoroĎene djece u odnosu na spol. Ţenska novoroĎena djeca imala su u prosjeku veću porodnu duljinu i masu u odnosu na mušku novoroĎenu djecu. Najveći broj novoroĎene djece imalo je srednju porodnu duljinu i masu. Hipnotici, odnosno depresori SŢS su pronaĎeni u najvećem broju u toksikološkim nalazima. Kod pronaĎenih hipnotika i ostalih sredstava ovisnosti i lijekova u urinu novoroĎene djece uočena je povezanost sa smanjenom porodnom duljinom. Status majke nije imao značajnu povezanost sa smanjenom porodnom duljinom i masom novoroĎene djece. Nije uočena značajna povezanost pronaĎenih sredstava ovisnosti u urinu novoroĎene djece s niţim Apgar1 vrijednostima.
Abstract (english)
The objective of this study was to investigate if there is a relationship between the newborns` physical condition and the presence of addictive substances found in urine of newborns using the GC-MS method. The research was conducted in Split-Dalmatia County in the period from 1 January 2010 to 31 December 2015. A cross- sectional study was conducted. Analyzed data on newborns with proved presence of addictive substances in urine were collected at the archive of the Clinical Hospital Split. Parameters used for analysis of the newborns are sex, birth length, birth weight, toxicology screen of urine, mother`s physical condition and the one-minute Apgar score. The highest number of newborns with presence of addictive substances in the period from 1 January 2010 to 31 December 2015 were recorded in 2010, and the lowest in 2015. Significant difference in number of newborns in relation to sex was not noticed. In average, female newborns had greater birth length and birth weight compared to the male newborns. Most newborns were of average birth length and birth weight. Hypnotics, i.e. CNS depressors, were found in most toxicology reports. Hypnotics and other addictive substances and drugs found in urine of newborns have shown correlation with reduced birth length of the newborns. The mother`s condition had no significant correlation with birth length and birth weight of the newborn. There was no significant correlation between addictive substances found in the urine of newborns and lower Apgar1 scores.
