Abstract
Opisana je teorija kvašenja standardnih materijala, kao i mogućnosti kontrole stupnja kvašenja strukturiranjem površine. Vodoprivlačnost i vodoodbojnost su izmjerene na površinama filmova s nasumično orijentiranim i vertikalno poredanim ZnO nanožicama, naraslim putem istog hidrotermalnog postupka, ali na različitim predslojevima s klicama ZnO nanočestica. Morfologija predslojeva i nanožica analizirana je pretražnom elektronskom mikroskopijom i mjerenjima difrakcije rentgenskih zraka pri malom kutu upada. Utvrđena je korelacija između izmjerenih kutova kvašenja i ukupne morfologije uzoraka, koja definira hrapavost njihove površine. Pokazano je da se visok stupanj vodoodbojnosti može postići s 1D nanostrukturama, podešavanjem detalja njihove morfologije i prostornog uređenja.
Abstract (english)
Wettability theory is described as well as the possibilities of wettability control. Hydrophilicity and hydrophobicity were measured on surfaces of films with randomly oriented and vertically ordered ZnO nanowires, grown by the same hydrothermal process, but on different seed layers. The morphology of seed layers and nanowires was analyzed by scanning electron microscopy and grazing incidence X-ray diffraction measurements. The correlation was estimated between the measured wetting angles and the overall sample morphology that defines the surface roughness. A high degree of hydrophobicity was achieved using 1D nanostructures, solely by adjusting their morphology and alignment.
