Abstract
U ovome radu provedena je kinetička analiza dinamičke i izotermne toplinske razgradnje laminata poli(etilen-tereftalata) i ko-ekstrudiranog polipropilena u inertnoj atmosferi. Ispitivani uzorci prethodno su bili izloženi testu ubrzanog starenja (pri temperaturi 85 °C i relativnoj vlažnosti 85 %) u trajanju od 0 h, 1000 h i 2000 h. Kinetička analiza provedena je na temelju eksperimentalnih termogravimetrijskih podataka primjenom Netzsch Thermokinetics Professional programa. Na temelju rezultata analize zaključeno je o utjecaju ubrzanog starenja na kinetiku dinamičke i izotermne toplinske razgradnje ispitivanih materijala. Analiza je započeta primjenom diferencijalne Friedmanove izokonverzijske metode kojom je utvrđeno da za sve ispitivane uzorke aktivacijska energija ovisi o konverziji. Navedeno ukazuje na složeni proces razgradnje koji se ne može opisati samo jednim kinetičkim modelom i njemu pripadajućim vrijednostima aktivacijske energije i predeksponencijalnog faktora. U sljedećem koraku primijenjena je nelinearna regresijska analiza kojom je utvrđeno da se svi ispitivani uzorci razgrađuju kroz dva stupnja. Za svaki stupanj razgradnje određeni su kinetički model, aktivacijska energija i predeksponencijalni faktor. Analizom rezultata kinetičke analize ustanovljeno je da ubrzano starenje dovodi do promjene aktivacijske energije dinamičke toplinske razgradnje, ali da pri tom ne utječe na mehanizam razgradnje ispitivanih materijala. Također je utvrđeno da kod izotermne toplinske razgradnje ubrzano starenje dovodi do promjene i aktivacijske energije i mehanizma toplinske razgradnje ispitivanih materijala.
Abstract (english)
In this work, the kinetic analysis of dynamic and isothermal decomposition of laminated poly(ethylene terephthalate) and co-extruded polypropylene in an inert atmosphere was performed. The tested samples were previously exposed to the damp heat test (at 85 °C and 85% relative humidity) for 0 h, 1000 h and 2000 h. Kinetic analysis was based on experimental thermogravimetric data using the Netzsch Thermokinetics Professional software. Based on the results of the analysis, the effect of damp heat test on the kinetics of the dynamic and isothermal decomposition of the tested materials was revealed. The analysis started by applying the differential Friedman isoconversional method. The results of Friedman method show that the activation energy of the investigated decomposition process depends on the conversion. This indicates the complex decomposition process that can not be described by a single kinetic model and its associated values of activation energy and pre-exponential factor. In the next step, using nonlinear regression analysis, it was found that all tested samples decompose through two steps. The kinetic model, activation energy and pre-exponential factor for each decomposition step were calculated. By analyzing the results of kinetic analysis it was revealed that the damp heat test causes a change in the activation energy of the dynamic decomposition process, but does not affect the decomposition mechanism of tested materials. It is also found that the damp heat test causes a change of both the activation energy and the mechanism of isothermal decomposition of tested materials.
